2015 Family Reunion: August 7 - 9

Hello Watkins-Wooten Family. It’s time to start planning for the 2015 Family Reunion. At the 2013 reunion, it was decided that the 2015 family reunion will be in Virginia. Considering the location, the reunion committee decided that Historic Colonial Williamsburg will be a great place. The reunion activities will take place at the Double Tree Inn by Hilton in Historic Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. The hotel is close to shopping, beaches, Bush Gardens Amusement Park, Water Country Water Park, fishing charters, Yorktown, and Historic Jamestown. Enclosed are the Pre-Registration form and the Family Information form (the Family Information form is used to update the family tree). Please mail the Family Information form to Gracie Claxton, address below.

Both forms will be available online within the next few weeks.

Registration cost for the 2015 Family Reunion is $95 per adult and $35 per child ages 5-11. All children 12 and above are considered an adult. In an effort to make payment easier, you can make 3 separate installments: The first payment of $35 is due on February 14, 2015; the second payment of $35 is due May 9, 2015; and the final payment of $25 is due July 11, 2015. Please make all checks or money orders payable to the Watkins-Wooten Family Reunion. The Registration Form and payment need to be sent to our family treasurer, Kennis Wooten, address below. Please NO CASH.

The Double Tree Inn by Hilton in Williamsburg has an indoor/outdoor connected pool, game room, computer kiosk, quick snack shop, and restaurant. The hotel also has direct shuttle service to Bush Gardens, Water Country USA, Yorktown Beach, and Historic Williamsburg. There is a cost of $5 per person to take the shuttle.

Rooms at the Double Tree Inn are $129 a night, plus 11% sate and local taxes and a $2 occupancy fee. Each room has 2 queen size beds and a pull out sofa that sleeps 2. Parlor suites are also available for $169 per night. When making reservations, please make sure to tell the hotel you are with the Watkins-Wooten reunion. The hotel room reservation code is WWR. Please make your reservations as soon as possible.
