  Yes  Smiler  Wooten-Haynes  passed  away  on jan 6, 2026.

        she  had  pancreatic  cancer.   she  was  92 years old

        she passed peacefully, no pain and comfortable.

      the  services will be  Jan 20, 2026  at  10 am

      at  Charles  Street  church  AME  at  551  warren street  Dorchester ma

          The  service  will be  streamed:  check   DAVISofBoston.com

    the  repass  will be at William  E Reed Auditorium  following all the  services

2024 Wooten Boston Thanksgiving

11/29/2024  day after  Thanksgiving

We were all at Danita's house in Arlington MA.

It  was  a  very  good  time.  LOTS  and  lots  of  food  and pies (any kind of pie you could  think of)

many meats..  there  were not  too many  duplicates.   a  couple  mac  and   cheese  but otherwise

the  were original  food  and  some  catered  food.  Danita  made  many  great  dishes.

so I hope   we  will see you at the  next  WootenWatkins  Thanksgiving.  11/27/2025
